Xpostulate is a cross-posting blog and microblog client written in tcl/tk, by tony baldwin
Xpostulate can send posts and status updates to all of the following blogging and microblogging services:
- Livejournal.com
- InsaneJournal.com
- DeadJournal.com
- DreamWidth.org
- Wordpress.com
- Tumblr.com
- Identi.ca (or other status.net installations)
thus, simplifying x-posting to your various social networking sites.

Xpostulate is FREE/Open Source Software, released under the terms of the Gnu Public License.
Xpostulate was written on and developed primarily for Linux, but it will work in BSD, Mac OS, and Windows operating systems just as well. (Mac and BSD users, install from source, please).

Xpostulate requires:
Tcl8.5 or later.
Tcl is free/open source software.
You can acquire Tcl for free from SourceForge
or from ActiveState
(most *nix systems either already have Tcl, or it can be installed easily with yum, apt, etc. (insert favorite pkg mgr)),
